About Brooks Independent Funeral Directors

Brooks Independent Funeral Directors was founded by Christopher Brooks Dip. FD, a devoted funeral director who cared for families throughout his life. Born and raised in Malmesbury, Chris built the business on values that still guide us today: compassion, dignity, and a truly personal approach. His deep connection to the community shaped the way he worked and the heart of our funeral home.​​

 

His close friend Charlotte now leads the funeral home, continuing the work Chris began with the same sincerity and commitment. Charlotte holds the Certificate in Funeral Awareness, the Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration, and the Diploma in Funeral Directing, where she was honoured with the High Achiever Award. Alongside her work in the funeral home, she has helped raise standards across the profession by training and assessing funeral professionals throughout the UK. She will gently guide you through every step of the funeral arrangements and be the calming presence on the day.

 

​Our bearers are experienced, respectful gentlemen from the local area, each bringing extensive knowledge and a calm, reassuring presence.
